    Us modchip for new wii

    Hey guys,
Finally got my hands on a new wii and was wondering which chip would be compatible with it. The serial number is: LU33980xxxx. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Wulfie

So I can go with the wii-clip v5 and wasabi and I'll be okay? How hard are the solders on the wii-clip v5? Anyone know?

    yes you can....

I don't personally like the clips very much...too finicky....I use them for testing only

I found the people who practiced on old cell phones (that they have lying around that is..lol).usually do a good job with soldering the chips to the board with wires......

of the three chips you mentioned, which do you think is the best? Which is the easiest to upgrade? Which has the most support? I'm really looking for a solderless solution due to the fact that my eyesight isn't what it used to be. I've found a website that offers clips for both the argon and wasabi, as well as offering to solder the chip to the clip. I'm not really concerned about imports, I just want the ability to be able to run wii backups as well as GC backups. Any and all opinions are more than welcome.

    Thanks,
    Wulfie
