4.2 System Menu, Wasabi Zero, and Imports

I recently 'upgraded' to the 4.2U system menu and I'm having problems now reading PAL discs on my NTSC Wii. I tried patching them, and no luck. NTSC-U discs still read fine. It can't be Trucha discs, as I went through the process of fixing that inconvenience.

I noticed people were having similar problems with the DriveKey and I wanted to know if other people were having similar issues and if anyone had gotten it fixed. Should I just downgrade to 4.1U? Will new games such as New Super Mario Bros work on it?

As far as i remember, 4.2 killed region free support on all chips. I could be wrong though.

Gamestuff is right, 4.2 killed region free. New games will run on 4.1 just fine BUT you need to be very careful in downgrading because the 4.2 update made IOS60 (the IOS that the system menu uses in 4.1) a nonfunctional stub which means it could brick if it's done improperly.
