    NTSC-games go to black screen

This is my first post/thread so hello to everybody!
Now, i bought Wii this december and had Wasabi Zero Solderlless installed to it.
All the Pal (my console is Pal) games work fine, both backup and original. But whenever I try to play any NTSC game with it, the screen goes black and the Wiimote can't connect to Wii anymore. Wii shows the game on the menu screen and in the screen after that, but goes black after I push START. My Wii has been updated to 4.0.... But it works fine. I have tryed RGB-cable, different TV, different games, 60hz just name it. Im desperate as I bought this chip to play japanese games... And I would be very glad if you could help me. Thanks

Are you sure your TVs support NTSC mode?

I thought all the new flat tvs support NTSC-mode? What should it say in the manual. In my manual it just says TV system: PAL, SECAM
And: Video playback: NTSC, PAL, SECAM
So is this the problem? Maybe I should try that regionfrii, I just heard that it might break your Wii...

to play NTSC-U/J games on PAL wii, need to apply "GeckoOS1.07b"
connect ur TV set with wii component video cable is a benefit.

Could you throw in few links please. I'm new to this site, modding and to Wii. So I don't know anything they are speaking in the tutorials. I have to get HBC to use that gecko? I need a super noob guide. Or someone has to explain these things to like for a 5-year-old . Sry for being this difficult and thanks for helping.
Ps. I tried this Regionfrii, but the problem stayd.

Billyhome why do you say to forget RegionFrii from now on? I have used it with great success in converting PAL games to NTSC format, with the same black screen problem. Does it work differently when you go NTSC->PAL? I just want to know if there's something I don't know about it.

Ok now it seems that I can't do any of these things with my 4.0 updated Wii. So does anyone have any clue what the problem might be?
