The update blocker is a feature in the Wasabi firmware. All you need to do to enable it is download the Wasabi config disc from here and burn it, run it as a disc, and it will let you enable the update blocker. Now any disc or whatever that wants you to update will not bug you again

And botulismo, what update blocker are you talking about? I just installed Wasabi Zero solderless and started playing games. I did not installed anything....

Do I need to do something else?

Anyway... I was getting the "this could potentially disable any unauthorized modifications" error with PES2009, and now I also get it with Pikmin, that I've just downloaded

    Cheers!

    Hello again!

I've downloaded and installed the config disc for the Wasabi and now Pikmin works! Yet... PES2009 doesn't

The game appears on the Wii game channel, but when I press Play I only get a black screen. What's happening now?

Did you add those IOS files yet? If you didn't that is why the black screen...and you can use a copy of zelda to do the twilight hack seein as you have a modchip.

    Modular!

You happen to be lucky enough to be able to install the homebrew channel via a DVD because you have firmware 3.2 and you have a modchip So you don't even need to use the twilight hack. You will need an SD card however.

If you go here you can download an ISO you can burn to disc and then play from the Wii. This is hands down the easiest way to install HBC.

If the screen is turning black, I would say FIRST to install the homebrew channel and then find a guide that explains how to install WADS. Then install those IOS files that will help you load games that need higher system menu (but like a good wii hacker you don't want to upgrade past 3.2!)

After that, the other thing I would suspect is that you're playing an NTSC game on a PAL wii (you do have a PAL wii, right?) The way to fix that is to use the RegionFrii patcher to patch the ISO from US version to EU version and then burn the patched ISO. It's pretty easy.
