Funny I have install my Was. Zero following the Canadamod video on youtube and everything is OK! (I am usually not a "handy" person)

Perhaps it's too big because you didn't press the chip enough or allign it correctly?

Well, after a lot of hesitation about either breaking my new Wii and/or the modchip, I finally went for it last night. Followed ModderMan's advice and so far so good!

    Talking Finally I am Happy.

It finally works, and I want to give all the credit to the authentic wiiclip. Now if anyone could tell me the best place to get Verbatim DVDs for the best price.

Hi all, first post here. Just got my Wasabi Zero today installed by the book with great care and all I have is a red light. :^( When the Wasabi is still on my drive won't work at all if I take it off it's fine. The clip was loose when I first put it on so I'm guessing that's the problem e-mailed mod central about a replacement but won't here back from them until tomorrow at the earliest.

1 - Just went to help a friend that never manage to go "green"!

He never alligned properly the chip (almost half crooked!).

Seems that some people are more hacky than handy! :-) (*)

2 - Got a problem with a a game (Zack & Wicki) on my Wiii and thought it was the Wasabi but because I was at the end of the Game (meaning I put it in & out a lot of time the last 15 days) the DVD got somehow danage on the edge and I could not load the game anymore and or other "backup" were refused too (the originals always worked correctly). After resetting all the game started again but I had to re-burn the game and it work flawless now. I jut give the information because I was really concern about the high spinning sound that the DVD was doing on this particular damage DVD. (When I say damage it was not even a real scratch.... but the next burn at very low speed - around 2.5 speed - made the problem disapear)

    * PS: Even after explaining him what he was doing wrong, I saw in his eyes that he was not convinced (and I bet he was still blaming the Wasabi not to "Auto-position" itself!). In everycase now we have great fun with Dead Overkil.
