Question about Wasabi and New Wii

Hi, i just bought a wii today (1/7/09) and i accidentally updated the wii online...
i've been searching about modding, etc but they said "models from may/08 and later, use Wasabi 2 modchip)

My serial starts with: LU62...

Only true way to tell is to take it appart and look at your chip. We just got a new wii for xmas but it has an old chip and was manufactured in 2006 .... so i think you stand a pretty good chance of still getting an older chipped wii ... gotta tear it down bro... or take it to an installer. Open this link and type your serial number in the database search box to give you a ruff idea of your drive chip , [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register]

from my experience a lot of lu62 has the epoxy. If you open it and it does not have the epoxy you can use the wasabi zero with clip
or if it does have the epoxy then it needs to be wired in.
If you need someone to do the installation we have done quite a lot of epoxy drives now, and of course were the first to mod an epoxy drive wii
