WasabiDX - D2E drive - Not Working

Ok, after thinking my Wii was a D3-2 drive I tried to softmod it and failed miserably. I got as far as updating my Wii to 4.1 and that had no effect on having any games be playable except for an orginal Wii Fitness cd that came with the Wii Fitness.

I opened it up to remove the WasabiDX chip and actually realized I have the D2E epoxy version. So I left the chip in, updated it to 2.0 beta and... still no luck... its a process far from plug and play.

Anyone had this problem or know whats causing it? I got a EUR Wii so I set it to PAL. Or is this setting wrong?

Any help would be much appreciated, this is the 5th time this week opening up my Wii...

Are you still having problems with your Wii?
All I know is that Wiikey2 works great on these D2E epoxy drives... ^_^
No problems... so if you would like to get one installed let me know...
Have a good one...
