Wasabi Zero Burning help

hello all, first post here.

I installed by solderless Wasabi zero without issue the other day. So far I've only gotten two games to work after trying some tips from the forums. I went to 2x burning and switched to dvd -r. Also got img burn instead of cdburnerxp. I was using phillips media and only got 1 disc going. Also tried changing my Wasabi to both 3x and 6x drive speed. Then today I got some verbatim -r and got ac/dc rock band to work at 2x. Although anytime I try hells bells it locks up. The moral of the story is that I've burned several coasters trying different speeds, media, games etc. Either my games aren't recognized at all or they'll start but then get the can't read the disc check the manual message at some point. From what I gather I have good media, burning slow, but are running into some of the common lock up issues or disc errors. I've read tons of great info on the forums here, but I'm not sure what my next step should be to get my Wii (3.4u) to recognize more discs. I haven't touched anything with ios patchers, home brew, wad manager etc. Not sure what I all need to do. If someone could point me in the right direction that would be great. Thanks.

Are you trying to play PAL games on a NTSC wii or vice versa? I would try to stick with the ones for your region. As far as disc read errors, for me it was a media issue. Also, do you have the dips set correctly for your region and drive chipset? Does your wii play originals correctly and just has a problem with playing backups?

They are all ntsc games, except for 1 PAL game which does work. The dips are correct. Original games work without any issue.
