The DX connects thru your ribbon connection, and the zero fits over the chip. The DX only runs at a 3X speed, while the Zero is configurable to run at either 3X or 6X. Technically the Zero is better, but the DX is easier.

One other difference I noticed in the DX is that the flash storage on it is 2 megabytes, compared to the wasabi zero's 128kb. And people were saying the wasabi zero's flash storage was big compared to other modchips, so the DX's is positively gigantic...

I wonder if you need that much more to interface that way or if there are other plans for it?

my Wii is also Korean , i bought it from Malaysia last January and my Serial number starts with LKM1001, which shows that i have a D3 chipset and only the soldress modchips will work for me

so i was between DriveKey and WasabiDX, and i bought yesterday the DX cause i heard that there code is the best and top quality manufactring process

Personally just from looking at it, I think that the Zero is better. I'm still waiting for my Zero to ship but I'll PM you or write a review on it if you want.

I'm thinking in a zero also. Works for my non epoxy wii, and it seems the best solution. Anyway, It has the clipping problem... or at least, people tend to have problems in the clipping part of making this chip solderless. Wasabi DX is a great choice if you don't feel sure about clipping or if you aren't certain about the existence of epoxy in your wii - just easy plug and play, and can transformit in to a zero, in the case there is no epoxy (or in the case it is compatible, wtv).

My doubts would be in the BETA firmware 2.0 to unblock this Zero (does ir really unblocks all zero funcionalities? i think yes but... and is this beta safe?) - it is for this questions that I prefer the True Zero. And probably will buy it.
