I thought Wiikey 2 and D2Pro used to be better than Wasabi Zero.

Maybe I'm wrong.

Does this apply solderless version?

The D2PRO is also a great solution, if you're going solderless though its easier to replace the clip on a wasabi zero than it is on the d2pro incase it gets ruined.

Hi,

In what way would it be easier to replace? I seem to find Wiiclips (including for the Wasabi) sold in quite a few places, but I've not really seen replacement Wasabi clips here in the UK.

Would you go for a Wasabi Zero over a soldered D2Pro? Assuming both are installed properly. To be honest, I've been put off by the Wasabi Zero after reading some of issues people encountered mentioned in this forum (especially in regard to the clip).

Honestly, I don't know what people are doing wrong, this was a 30 minute install from start to finish. First time I have ever opened a Wii. Just following the video instructions on canadamods and you should have no issues

I was afraid of installing the chip as well, but if you follow the video carefully it's pretty easy. It took me about 20 minutes to do everything: opening the Wii, installing the chip, closing the Wii.

It's a blast
