Wasabi WII-CLIP V5 Presolder...NO LED!!!
Hi there.Sorry for my english, I'm not perfectly bilingual. Yes i'm a french Frog...lol...
Like I said in my introdution, I'm neewbe with the WII, I have some experience with other console but now I don't understand. I was happy to receive my Wasabi V3 WII-CLIP V5, I opened the WII, place the clip, ear a kind of CLIP, tried to open the WII power....NOTHING, the WII led power(not the chip) was red until I press power, WII shut down...I never seen the chip led open red or green. The jumper 1 is solder, the wire on the chip is solder F to Q, no legs bent, I looked with my lup, everyting looks good.
Is there someone who have an idea.
Sorry for my english, I'm not perfectly bilingual.

if it works perfectly without the chip, then the chip should be reflashed, if it doesnt work anymore then theres a defect in the chip

Is it possible that the problem is I have to solder the F of the chip directly to the F of mother board????

You may not have to solder your "f" wire to the board. Try this. Look at the picture [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register] See if it has a solder point labeled "Q" (next to the GND point). If so, solder a wire from point "Q" to your "f" point. That should take the place of soldering on your system board.
If you do not see the "Q" point on your clip then you MUST solder the "f" wire to your board for the Wasabi to work.
You can see a picture of the install "f" point [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register]

The wire between F ans Q on the chip was already solder, I tested it with my tester to see if there was a connectivity and GOOD, but is it that wire who make the chip no power led. I think I will desolder the WII-clip and solder directly to the board.
Is there a trick to know to test the chip??????

Look at this, [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register]
Do you have measure all contacts on chip with contacts on board?
