Please, need help/info on wasabi V3+ V5B clip for D2B
Hey Guys, today I finally received my wasabi V3 presoldered to a V5B Wii-clip, but after installing it the red light came on and nothing else. After removing the clip my Wii works fine again.
After looking closer at the chip and clip, and checking numerous posts, it looks like it wasn't soldered properly for a D2B drive. I did request for that drive from the store I bought it from. It looks like the 4 lines were not cut and the D2B jumper wasn't "shorted".
My question is: How easy is it to do this myself and is that all I need to do (the 1 jumper has been shorted)? How do I cut the lines and how deep should I go?
