Wasabi V3 Modchip Bundle (Wasabi V3 + V5B Wiiclip + Triwing Screwdriver)
Noob here with Wii Modding so bare with me. I have a verified D2B with cut pins (USA) by taking it apart to see for myself after using the serial database (wanted to practice taking it apart anyway). I'm looking to get the [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register] and am finding conflicting information about it in this forum the past few days of searching. - If I order it soldered on the clip, will I still need to do some soldering (i.e. jumping pins with or without wires) once I receive it?
- What are the cons of using the Wasabi V3 with my D2B with cut pins?
- What is the best media to use with this chip" (i.e. Sony, Verbatim, etc.)
Thanks for your help with this. I want to be prepared and not have the stress of damaging my board as I'm definitely not good at it.

yes you will need to modify it for d2b, if you like we can match it and make the alterations for you.
there are no real cons, its a bit overkill, you can use our wiizard for d2b legless which is half the cost and will give you the same performance
and best media is verbatim dvd-r made in japan/singapore, made in taiwan is ok, made in india not recommended.

Thank you, Spyman. I have seen your expertise in many threads. I will take you up on the offer. I haven't researched the Wizard yet. I will do so today and decide. I chose the Wasabi because of its reliability is spoken highly of in this forum. I also liked the upgradability of it via dvd. Is the Wizard the same?

Sorry for so many questions, however...
If I go with the Wiizard, will it be truly 100% solderless once I get it for my situation? Where can I find install instructions/video for the Wiizard? Is it a stealth chip? If not, then what can be done to avoid any issues? Lastly, do you use PayPal on your site?

yes it is 100% solderless, we configure it for the d2b as well and have it on our site for the d2b.
install instuctions are the same as the d2pro9 and wasabi , so you can view either of those videos. In terms of stealth the wasabi has an extra option to solder a wire for disable mode, where the wiizard does not. However for now there is no need to disable the chip and we will make a guide when the time is needed on how to add a disable feature to various chips.
As for paypal we do not, only credit card through a secure ccnow gateway.

Spyman, I'm ready now to purchase the chip and tools. Is there any special instructions I must provide to order the Wiizard Solderless and ensure that it is truly 100% solderless? Reminder...I have a D2B Legless chip. As soon as I hear back from you then I will place my order.
