Is the wasabi line of chips picky about any brand of discs?

Hi,

Is the wasabi line of chips picky about any brand of discs?

Like the d2pro works best with Verbatim (Not made in india)

as far as i know, this isn't really an issue, rahul002. the chip could care less what media you use but if your looking for a recommendation, i'd suggest that you continue using Verbatim's and go with DVD-R as the media.

really dark mod!? why would the chip matter, i thought it was the drive that dictated that stuff...but it must be the chipset then...?

I'm in india, wonder what discs are available here. I know i can find moserbaer and sony dvd-r. Hope that worx!

If i do find Verbatim, those will be made in india ones.

I think the wii should be able to pick up moserbaers though, they are the best quality one can get.
