Newbie Wasabi + Clip

Hey Guys,
I just recieved my Wasabi pre soldered onto the clip from GMODZ.
thanks for speedy shipping!!!

I have the D2E drive

The wasabi I recieved already had a wire soldered to a couple points...not sure what that is for.
Being new to all this, I did take the wii apart, snapped the chip on and put the wii back together.
I didnt realize that I should have looked at the LED's on the chip, so I will take it apart and look.

question...is there anything else I need to do? There was a loose wire included in the package, am I supposed to solder anything?

Is there anything during boot up or on the wii menu that I can check the chip to see if it is working?
I tried a burned game, but it didnt work...although, I have to check my media and my burning methods.

I wanted to verify first that there was no other steps for the install of the chip.
Thanks
Rod

The presoldered wire is to make the wasabi 100% solderless. You don't have to do anything extra other than insert a copied game and play. The chip/clip is seated properly when you set the green light flash and the drive power cycles. Everything else stays exactly the same. Enjoy!
