Wasabi v1,v2 and v3? - Wiihacks

Hi,

Can somebody tell me what is the difference between v1,v2 and v3 on the Wasabi line of chips?

ok.....wasabi V1 was the very first 9wire modchip that was compatible with all drives. Problem with it, the clk point was not stable and some wiis was not compatible with the chip.

Wasabi v2 chip....revised version of the v1 super stable...but still had some clk issues but not that bad as the first one, compatible with all drives.

Wasabi v3 is the revised version of the two wasabis. Extremely stable, easy to install but tricky to manipulate, works with all drives no clk issues.

For the v3, wat do you mean when u say tricky to manipulate?

well what I mean tricky to manipulate I meant to say on the D2C drives the wasabi have the tendency to reject the drive and will refuse to allow the drive to accept any discs, or sometimes it will accepts discs but will not play it.

So, that would be for some d2c drives only right? and this would be evident on install, if it works fine then... then the wii should not give any issues i assume.
