Angry Wii won't take disc!!!

I have a Wasabi V3 with a V5B Wiiclip (Wii Serial #LU34977XXXX)... It was presoldered for me, and I popped it in. I get the red light, then solid green light, but I'm unable to insert a disc. I tried removing the chip, but to no avail. It won't take a disc either way now. I'm getting a little frustrated! I'd appreciate any help provided. Thanks a lot!

Open the disc drive and see if anything is obstructing it lol, or maybe the wire that tells the Wii to accept it got messed up during the Mod Chip installation.

There was indeed an obstruction! Now, I can't get any backups to load. The light is a solid green still. Is there something I must do between installing the chip and playing a backup?

Focus on the bigger issue here. from your first post, you are saying it doesn't insert any games with the chip off! So get your wii running stock before worrying about getting backups to play. Check to see if you bent any pins on the wii board and causing grounding.

how did you make it work? can you tell us more?

I ordered 2 Wasabi presoldered chip/clip sets (100% solderless). After installed, it can't accept the disc. If removed it, it works again. I have to return it to the seller. It's complicated since they're in Canada, and we're in US.
