Exclamation can i download new firmware with mod
just got my wii moded with Wasabi 2 and my wii firmware is 3.1u is it safe to take the latest firmware for wii

If you update the wii with the latest update, certain homebrew will not work properly including a few games. So i'll advise you to keep the wii as is. Don't trouble something that don't give you trouble at all.

i heard if u did update to 3.3u that no problems were present since they worked there way around making homebrew channel work on 3.3

At 3.3 the only anoyance would be trucha signed discs that would require the use of GeckoOS to load those discs, other than that there should be no problem. Most people just stick to 3.2 as everything works fine at that release.

Yes, if you want upgrade to 3.2 the easiest way is find a game which MUST be the same region as your wii (NTSC-U in your case) that has the 3.2U update. Some Mario Kart, Super Mario Galaxy and some others are known to have the 3.2 update.

The other option is to install Homebrew channel and use the AnyRegionChanger to update to 3.2U but don't change the region.
