Wasabi 3 PAL Games - Wiihacks

I install a Wasabi 3 chip on my North American WII and it plays backed up USA games with no problem. But when I put in a PAL game it says that the WII needs to update to play this game. I would just like to know if I should go ahead with the update or get the USA version of the game.

No....don't do it, you will end up bricking your wii. you will need to download wiibrick blocker to block the update in the game ISO first, then burn it over and the game will play.

yes like dark mod says you will semi brick your wii .....u wont be able to access the wii settings menu until a new game thats NTSC requires an update and this will fix it...if your wii is not at 3.3 you can use the following disc to unbrick your wii with no issues

if you have 3.3 update we always tell our customers and offer to install the homebrew channel for free so they dont have to worry about bricking since they can always slap the disc in and unbrick
