After Soldering in Wasabi

Immediately after soldering in the Wasabi, and before i close-up the console, is there something else i need to do? Does the chip need flashing?

Or do I just close-up the console and start playing burned discs? Or do i have to put in an original euope pal disc in first?

Sorry for sounding stupid it's just that when you read so many comments everything gets a bit muddled.

Make sure to test a couple of originals and copies before you put it back together. Also, there is an update to the Wasabi if you don't have it, but if it is reading copies, you can always do the update later.

Not only that...... make sure that you check your connections so nothing don't get shorted or pinched, also make sure you cover the chip with some electrical tape to prevent the chip from grounding off to the wii metal cover.

yup and make sure the 4 rubber pads that go between the dvd drive and board are also there....sometimes they fall out when opening it up and they get jammed inside the drive...we have had to replace a few drive rollers because people tried to jam the disc in when the rubber pads were blocking the entrance
