Wasabi 2 + Wii-Clip Install Video

How to install Wasabi 2 using Wii Clip. NOTE: D2C/D2C2 users will have to solder the F wire directly to the board in order for the chip and clip to work. DMS/D2B/D2A users can ignore this.

For noob solderers- I think this video misrepresents what the solder actually entails. I spent a good hour trying to solder my wire correctly, and I still don't think it's right. FYI- Don't be fooled by this expert. I still don't know how it's even possible to do it that fast. Where is the solder for the point on the clip? On the gun?

the clip is pre tinned and thats how we ship the clips...the video was obviously done by an expert so no1 should expect to do it that fast on the first go.

I have a D2C and I'm planning on getting this, but do I have to solder the F wire directly into the board for it to work? I thought a Wii Clip meant no soldering -_-

Could you provide a link to the solderless d2c wasabi wii clip? Or is it just the normal wasabi + wii clip setup? Cause I heard you still have to solder or connect some wires to the F wire for it to work.

it's the same procedure. With the 100% solderless wasabis we ship out now, you can skip the wire install shown at the end of the video.
