The Wasabi mod chips are weird.. I say this cause sometimes they
work w/o issues as soon as u r done installing & there will be times where u'll
have to install point K into the middle leg off the reset button to make it work..
May sound weird but it works.. I only had one install work as soon as
I was done installing it.. The other 2 installs I had to connect K into the middle
leg off the reset button.. As you power on the Wii ==> Picture comes up,
u press A ==> The channels pop up but u dont hear a thing from the drive.
That's the regular installation.. so u might think the chip is dead.. Cause it
causes the drive not to move a muscle all u see is the red light on the chip.
So this is where u would connect K into the middle leg off the reset button
on the Wii's motherboard.. ==> So after pressing A ..Channels pop up & u
still dont hear a thing.. "This is where u press RESET" ==> It wakes up the
Wasabi Mod chip & it activates the DVD drive ==> Now you are set to play!
** Some of you may think it's the position I placed the Wasabi,
the wire being to long or whatever..it's not, I have done it both ways..
I've had the same error even when installed in the correct spot..
