Exclamation Wasabi installed - no DVDs detected....?!?!

Checked all wiring etc and it looks good. The drive initially spins the disc round a couple of times then seems to stop, got a green light on the wasabi chip so I'm not too sure what exactly the problem is here. All help is greatly appreciated

Cheers in advance!

The Wasabi mod chips are weird.. I say this cause sometimes they
work w/o issues as soon as u r done installing & there will be times where u'll
have to install point K into the middle leg off the reset button to make it work..
May sound weird but it works.. I only had one install work as soon as
I was done installing it.. The other 2 installs I had to connect K into the middle
leg off the reset button.. As you power on the Wii ==> Picture comes up,
u press A ==> The channels pop up but u dont hear a thing from the drive.
That's the regular installation.. so u might think the chip is dead.. Cause it

causes the drive not to move a muscle all u see is the red light on the chip.
So this is where u would connect K into the middle leg off the reset button
on the Wii's motherboard.. ==> So after pressing A ..Channels pop up & u
still dont hear a thing.. "This is where u press RESET" ==> It wakes up the
Wasabi Mod chip & it activates the DVD drive ==> Now you are set to play!

** Some of you may think it's the position I placed the Wasabi,
the wire being to long or whatever..it's not, I have done it both ways..
I've had the same error even when installed in the correct spot..
(as shown on the official diagram) **

Just tried that with the reset connecting to K....... unfortunately no solution to the problem. I've now also got a 100 Ohm resistor in the CLK line to the Wasabi.... still no solution, Arrggghhh, I'm now thinking of doing the capacitor fix for the wasabi also, but if anyone can help further...!

Didnt work w/K point? That's sucks..
Oh man.. then at this point I wouldnt know what to tell you..
If your connections are all good..& the points are
at the correct spots, then I could be a bad chip..

Thanks for your help here guys, turns out I had wired the Wasabi clock signal to the wrong solder point AND my friend (he owns the Wii and asked me to chip it for him) gave me a copy of Pro Evo Soccer that didn't bloody work...... unbelievable, I probably had it going for a while but didn't know until I got a proper Wii game off someone else - Thanks again !!

It is indeed, I left the K point on the Wasabi connected to the middle leg of the Wii's reset switch and left the 100 Ohm resistor between the Wii clock point and the Wasabi clock point - both connections are probably surplus to requirements but then again they can't do any harm.

Honest opinion of the Wasabi chip, really easy to install if you solder to the correct points....., seriously tho, really easy (that was on a D2C).

I looked in that picture that you attached but I could not find the "K" point.
