Using the Serial tracker It is saying that I have a GC2-D2B and that my drive pins are most likey cut...does this mean that I have ZERO pre-soldered options for my wii? I would really like to install myself but I am not comfortable soldering...any help?

My wii is GC2-D1. I already bought a mod chip.

I was told that one will work on my wii but i guess it was false information. Is there some way to get this mod chip to work on my wii? I was told that if i cut these spots: [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register] it would work on my wii. What kind of knife should i use to cut that part.

Which Modchip?
New to Wii Scene. Just got new Wii about week ago.
Found this from Wiitracker. What would be the best Modchip for this new Wii?

There is a 50% chance that your drive chip is a GC2-D2C
There is a 50% chance that the pins on your drive chip are not cut.
Also, is there some type of instructions for this install? Is it solderless?
I would like someone to do it, but I'm not comfortable shipping via mail and not knowing if I would get new Wii back, and the extra $ on shipment is a killer.

Hi,
What would be the reason for the D2Pro9 v2 to be #1 and not the Wasabi v2?

the d2pro9 v2 works on all wii's but still has bugs, the wasabi 2 works now and then and needs an extra wire to be soldered.

Does the Wasabi 2 w/ Wii-Clip also need a wire to be soldered? I heard there will be a new Wii-Clip redesign, will that fix the extra wire or it will still be there?
