We were expecting the new Sony PS Vita console to launch before Christmas, the other day Sony announced that it wouldn’t launch in the US and Europe until 2012, although they did not mention an exact launch date.
Now it would appear that the Sony PS Vita will launch in the US on the 30th of March 2012, according to the guys over at Xbit Labs, this is quite a delay from the original December release we had heard and we would have thought that the early 2012 that Sony mentioned would have been around January.

With Sony releasing the PS Vita in Japan in December, three months later in the US and UK seems like quite a while to wait, no doubt we will see a number of grey imports turn up in these countries from Japan before Sony releases the consoles in the US and UK.
