Not gamer related but..

I'm a moderator on HowardForums.com

I moderate the PagePlus forum and the sprint prepaid/mvno forums. Been a member there for a few years. Moderating since last october :)

I have followed a guide here for soft modding my Wii.. Excellent resource I must say.

You folks do great work :D

(FWIW I'm a phone geek similar to how some of you are game console geeks LOL.. I'm all into modding/hacking my handset. Currently I have a Sprint HTC Touch Pro 2 SIM unlocked with a world unlocked radio so that I can use a SIM card (if I wanted to) from any provider in the world. I also have installed a beta build of Froyo Android 2.2 on my windows smartphone)

Looking forward to kicking back and making some new friends here :)

Yep, we all love modding/hacking just about anything we can get our hands on and our heads around. It is a universal kind of mind-set and very addictive.

I get bored unless I'm trying to wrap my mind around something electronic :P

it's definitely addictive.. The wife just asked me "what did you do to the Wii ?" hahaha..

Told her I'm looking for a place to get the games so we can load via USB :D

(Fixin to pull the trigger on one of those sites that has a membership fee for unlimited downloads as my normal p2p 'hookup' doesn't offer much in the way of Wii stuff) :cool:

We all hope to assume your doing this to get backups of games you already own as wiihacks does not support piracy ;)

99.9% of "those" sites that offer downloads for a fee are scams, they just link to publicly available torrents, stay away from them !

Have since done a bit of digging and came to the same conclusion but thanks a bunch for the advice :)
