    Wode noob question

    Hi.

Will the Wode work with the latest version Wii if I purchase a Wii today? or do I have to get a used/older one.

I would like to select games from the will menu and not using the Wode joystick. From everything I have read here I would need the WodeFlow and hbc installed. Will these also work on a brand new Wii ?

    Thanks.

Brand new wii I believe is 4.2u firmware so it would still be easy, but if it's 4.3 it's still doable just a bit more tricky to get hbc installed, still it's doable

Yes, it will work. I'd install HBC using the indiana pwnz method, then use wad manager to install the Wode flow .wad if you want it as a channel. I actually never planned on soft-modding my Wii. I got the Wode for my kids, but using the Wode joystick to navigate through a list of games on a 3x3 LCD wasn't happening. So using Wode flow is definitely the right decision.
