Exclamation how to convert your file system non destructively

I hope this is ok in this forum .... it seemed like a good area for it. if not i apologize.
Ok, I had 3 different HDD all my games were scattered across, so i decided to go buy one big hard drive to keep all my wii games, game cube games, and rom files on. I decided to do away with the wbfs format since it now seems to be obsolete, thus having every thing all on one partition. After about 10 hours or so of transferring files around the world, i finally had it all set up. hooked it up to the wii, and it could read my wii images, but ot the Gamecube images. kept saying there were no games found. After doing every thing short of bashing my brand new 1 TB hdd in the wall, I realized i had a brain fart ............ my stupid A** had formatted the hdd in ntfs instead of fat 32. I was dreading formatting the damn thing and spending another 10 hours transferring files back over to it. then i found a solution, so i decided to post it here in case anyone ever runs into a similar situation. i found a way to format your hdd from fat to ntfs or ntfs to fat without loosing any data, and it takes less than 5 minutes.

first you need Paragon Partition Manager. i have an older version .... 9.0 pro i think ... then goto to this website [ How to Convert NTFS to FAT32 without Data Losing? ] for a short guide on how to use it to convert your hdd format.

hope this helps someone else out there. i know it saved me a lot of greef.

Thanks for this. Basically, OP told us to use Paragon Partition Manager to convert to and from FAT and NFTS without losing data.
