I think this will be a very interesting thread. I can't wait to see some of the answers.

1.The best mod for wii to play backup games.
I have two Wii (What is the plural of Wii?) One is softmoded with HBC and Backup Loader. The other is a LU65 with a Drive Key mod chip. Both methods work well for me.

2. The best way to get and/or backup games
HBC and DVD Dumper over WiFi dumped from an original. Thank you for inventing BlockBuster.

3. The best firmware for Wii to be on (Version)
I'm on 4.0U on both Wii so I really couldn't compare.

Play DVDs on the Wii? I may have to experiment with this for my daughter's Wii.

Not a clue

Homebrew Channel, Backup Launcher Channel and well that's about all I have.
