Rockband 2 VS Guitar Hero World Tour *Kind of Late*

So now I happen to own both of these games. What are your views on both of these titles.

I now love both of these games, I got the World Tour band kit first, then I just went and bought the Rock Band 2 disc. The one thing I don't like about Rockband is alot of the tracks are the same, and that during solos the notes look so crunched compared to how Guitar Hero notes look.

Yeah, I hate the notes in rockband. Also, lots of songs suck and you have to play them over and over throughout the game.

I noticed that it, it has all these "Mystery Setlists" but they turn out to be like the same songs over and over again. Atleast you get good at some songs though

lol. I had a giftcard to gamestop so it isn't like a loss to me lol

How do the GH drums go? There was aot of problems in Aus with them. I got the RB drums they are pretty sturdy and are working well so far

Unfortunately, I'm not experienced in the Wii versions of these games. I own both for the 360 and they really have some great positives on both.

GHWT:
+ More complex guitar portions.

Rock Band 2:
+ Simplified note patterns when compared to GH. Great for parties because of the low learning curve.
+ DLC. The constant lineup of new songs is fantastic. There's so much quality stuff arriving weekly.
+ Ability to import RB1 tracks into the new game. You now have an obnoxious amount of music to select from.
- If you're a bit advanced, you're going to find this game a bit easy.

I've not heard of any issues in Aus. Maybe i'm speaking too soon, but everyone I know with them have also had no issues.

Dude are you serious?

Not sure about the guitar but have you seen some of the drumming on expert for either of the rock band games? Some songs are crazzzzzzy!!!!!!

Dude I can 5 star almost all songs with RB on expert. Way too easy.
