Will modern warfare 2 come to the wi soon??

There is lots of topics in forums all over the net about COD6 MW2 and it seems every one is asking the same question "when will this make an apperance on the wii" as fa as i can see no one seems to know the answer.

I dont think there is much argument that the game series is one of the best and biggest selling even if it is estimated they have lost 240m on COD6 to counterfits. so it dosnt seem to make much sence that it has not been released on the wii or even seem to have a release date.

Like most people who own a 360 ive got it on there but i love the different style of playing it with the wiimote in the zapper that you carnt get on any other format.

I just wanted to know if anyone here has herd anything about when this is coming. I need my fix!

I doubt it will be soon. COD MW: Reflex ( basically MW1 ) has only recently been released ( NOV 09 ).

I wouldn't expect to see MW2 for a long time on the Wii - if at all.

By all accounts, Reflex has major Framerate issues - I haven't played it, but from reviews it makes it almost unplayable at times.

COD 5 is fun though, worth a go.

It ran brilliantly on my PC. Wasn't very long though, finished it in a few hours.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

Yup and its great on the 360, I am just not sure the wii is "man" enough for such games with a smooth experience yet.

I'm sure they could do the game quite well on the Wii, it's just that they probably won't, and just lazily convert it and it'll end up looking pants.

Ive got cod4&5 (only just started with 4 tho) and find they run ok, its the same all over with the wii. you dont realy buy one for super graphics its the fun factor for me, i mean seriouse gaming is done on the 360 for me i dont think it can be beat for the online experience,
we have a ps3 too and it gets used as a media player more than anything else (bit of a waste i know)
Can anyone tell me if the online play on cod4&5 on the wii is played like a system link on a multi player map or is it like on the ps3 and 360 with real servers?? Ive never played my wii online (dont want to get it bricked or banned) ive seen to meny people get hammered with ban waves on the 360. 1.4 million in the uk last november.

Gotta kind of retract my commnet - I have just tried Refkex and it is Great.

@bigsmoggy - as I understand it, you will not get banned with a modded wii unless you activate CHeats online and you are spotted doing so by a Ninteno Rep. I don't believe they can detect an Ban the Wii without this info.

We use ours online regularly with no problems, on Various games. I also own a 360 and agree - I would NEVER mod that and take it online. Seen way too many friends hit with the ban-hammer, especially in the last wave.

MW reflex is great on the wii, but it will never come close to the gameplay of the ps3 or the xbox. U just cant compared the two, what makes the wii different is the use of the zapper which is ok, but wii has its problems from time to time.

I downloaded this game (EDIT MW Reflex) and tried it with Neogamma on a USB hard drive and from what I played it the same as on ps3 and 360.

I didnt play it long enough to notice any framerate issues, I would assume the usb load times only improve it.

I do have to say that I thought the controles sucked ass compared to 360 and PS3, to say nothing about PC.

I dont know if I will be navigating to that game again in the near future on my backup launcher.
