    I've tried and for some reason it isn't working. Is it possible that the disk itself was corrupt or something. I've tried backing up multiple times.

    That's rare but not unheard of. If your retail disc doesn't work and you can't rip it properly it very well could be a defect.

    If I spelled something wrong, I'll just blame it on auto-correct

    My disk works fine, just the backup won't.

    Then I would try re-ripping it. It's possible the first time you ripped it didn't work right.

    If I spelled something wrong, I'll just blame it on auto-correct
