Howdy. I have a quick question I'm hoping someone can answer for me. I installed my soft mod with maui frog's excellent guide, which means my ios 249 is ios 249 (38) d2xv6.

I wanted to update 249 to 249 (56) d2xv6 because it's better for NAND emulation. So, I downloaded that wad and installed it.

Now, my games won't run. CFG USBloader gives me an error -128. If I load them with ios 250 (57) they run, but not with 249. I know these games WILL run with 249 (56).

Does anybody know why this is, and how to fix that? I'm sure it's something simple. Your help is greatly appreciated - thanks.

Howdy Pob. BTW, thanks very much replying. You were the guy who also helped me with the NAND emulation stuff - I appreciate your willingness to help. Thank-you.

I haven't tried it yet, but I will give it another go right now. Again, I'm just using a .wad file for that. Is that ok, or would it be better to use the d2x installer? I don't think it makes a difference, but I could be wrong.

Anyways, I'll give it a whirl right now using just the .wad file and be back in a minute or two to let ya know how it went. Thanks!

Ok, got it working now. Re-installed the .wad file and: same result - games not working with 249.

Did a little reading. Used MMM and patched ios36. Used d2x installer 3.1. with the ciosmaps.xml. Re-installed 249 with installer and - bingo!

Thanks very much, once again, Pob. You're a huge help and always friendly.

    +3 internets to you. Cheers!

If it's working fine and it's d2x v7 final, leave it be. This guide will get updated with d2x v7 soon enough

can you please rehost the recommended cIOS pack?

I've tried to download from DepositFiles but it just says that the slots for my country are busy. All the time.
Proxys and premium link generators, even those didn't work.

    Update: Nevermind, finally got it
