What do you mean by "no patches on the dashboard"? Not sure what "patches" are.

    Ios list

Might be a great idea to get a post running that lists all IOS's and CIO's and there uses ...

I was reading Admirals 9th tut i think lol.....and he looks like he;s already started.

Cios 36: a special made IOS, which is only to support homebrew apps, like gamma.
Cios 37: firmware spoof, to give 3.2, all that 3.3 has, used to fix a lot of games like wiiware titles.
Cios 249: a special made IOS, used by gamma users, to fix various issues.
IOS 38: A IOS, originally from Animal crossing, and is needed to run, it adds wiispeak support.
IOS 53: A IOS, originally from need for speed, which adds support for 3rd party, usb wheels.
IOS 55: A IOS, originally from need for speed, its assumed *by me* to add, additional 3d support, it is needed to run this game, and several others.
IOS 50/51: used for the shop channel, and can be used to patch the fake sign bug fix.
    V4.2EUR- Component Cable Connected
HBC Channel Installed / Gamma Installed / Wad Manager 1.3
USB Loader GX - Maxtor 500gig USB Drive - Bannerbomb
Panasonic Vierra 58" Plasma - Yamaha RX1800 Amp

most of them are system files, that shouldnt be messed with, you dont have any reason to know them, and im not letting this evolve into another "what game needs what IOS"

    Why not?

Thats exactly what most newbies seem to be asking and thats is what is being supplied by in the forums by all the TUTS.
    Yours included....

A list would make it simpler and make questions less repetitive......

Maybe sure leave out the system IOS's but certaintly for the others it would be gold.

Anyways you are the moderator - My 2 cents worth only.

    LOL
    Read read read
Stamp to their fore heads as they enter the forum....

All the info is here....to fully mod the WII, both hard (Chip) and Soft (Software)

Got mine at Christmas and after a few hours reading and many hours playingthere is not a lot more i can do..

Hence the interest in the undelying IOS structure of the WII operating environment.

True....it needs to always start somewhere.....

The guides are awesome (Even if some people don't follow them to the letter and get in trouble)
I found yours and EOC (emporer of canada) great help.

Kudos to you for the time and effort......
