    image editing

I managed to unpack the .wad i had, and got 4 .app files a .cert .tik .tmd. Then i processed to unpack 00000002.app from another tutorial and i got a bunch of files with the extentions of ".sprite, .brtex, .breff .breft .brfnt .brres a few .arc .bin and playable .ogg i can play in MPC and there is only one .tpl also when it extracted. I want to try and edit the images in whatever files they are in. If you can give any suggestions it would be greatly helpful!!!

It's probably not setup right. homebrew apps need to be in their own folder in the sd:\apps directory but check the tutorial section.
Also although Homebrew does support SDHC cards some do not work with the WII

Did you rename the dols to boot.dol?

Sometimes .dol files have the name of the application in the file i.e. myapplication.dol
If that's the case in think you have to rename it to boot.dol

Also as the previous post noted, be sure to have the applications folders inside the apps folder.

    Hey guys!

To tell you the truth, I didn't read every page on the thread....sorry
but I was just wondering, if a wad file has more than one part to it how is it installed? like for example Tekken 2 for psx emulator or COD for wii (anyone know a good place to get that btw?).
I know how to use wad manager but on the sd card is there a sub folder I need to add or do all parts go in the wad folder?
Thank you for your help and again sorry for not reading everything.

Thanks for that! Explained the basics, which is what seemed to be sorely missing elsewhere.

    Downgrading to 3.2 isn't necessary. I'm using a mashup of 3.3e and 4.1.
That 3.1-4.1 softmod tutorial was what I did on my partially crippled Wii running 3.3e. Why was it crippled? because it just spat errors attempting to use the wad manager, some homebrew etc.

So yeah, I hadn't really had experience with it because it just wouldn't work. But then I got it working, and needed to know how to do things myself, and this gave me the kick I needed in the right direction.
