    I have a NTSC Wii running 3.2U. I downgraded from 4.0. I got all that stuff done do problem. Downgraded IOS also. Installed backup channel, starfall, GX USB loader all this stuff working fine!

    I still cannot play the WAD games. I followed the tutorial. I install the WAD using WAD manager 1.3, restart and the game shows up on the game channel. I click on it and the screen goes full screen and looks ok. When I click start the screen goes black and stays that way for minutes. At this point NO buttons on the remote work. I have to hold down the power button on the Wii to shut if off then restart. I have installed other software WADs no problem. I am thinking it is something simple since I have USB loader working fine, HBC is fine, downgraded to 3.2 fine and getting my butt kicked by WAD games? Any help is appreciated.

    I found out that the wads I had downloaded were bad or corrupt. I downloaded some other off of demonoid and they work fine. I cannot believe it was that simple!

    So I have 2 questions;

    1: Will this fix the 002 errors I've been getting?
    2: do I have to get to the WAD manager through the SD icon in the Wii menu or can I access through HomeBrew (Vo.3.2)?

    Thank you for your time and I hope I haven't missed something and asked a dumb question. LOL

    1. No this will not fix your 002 error.However using a Loader like Neogamma will,you can turn on the 002 error fix in Neogamma,and solve your problem.

    2. Yes, Yes you can access it through HomeBrew (just remeber to have it in your SD:\apps folder.

    Great source of .wad files, but....

    This is a great resource for finding wad files, but I believe it needs to be updated since you can now do all of these things on system menu 4.1 and below... meaning no need to downgrade. Sorry LU64+ it this doesn't apply to you.

    I would also like to know if this can be done on a 4.0 wii nowadays since some people reported it is now possible without downgrading.
    Just asking before I try it and brick my wii.

    Admiral I'm a newbie so don't get mad please :S
    I don't know what IOs I have installed, if I try to install 38, 53 or 55 and one of them is already installed will that cause a problem?

    Also if this guide cannot be done on a 4.0 wii then what is it that requires to downgrade to 3.2 system in order to install wads?
    I ask this cause I installed the forwarder for USB Loader GX using a wad with wad manager 1.5 on my 4.0 wii.

    Thanks in advance
