It's even mentioned on their website. If you're thinking about using it then you will definitely need to downgrade to 4.1.
Sure it does, read the end of the guide.

For the wad install step only two of the wads will install. They are the 4th and the 10th wad. I tried to install each seperatly and none of them will install. Did I miss something?

IT WORKED ! ! ! HOLY YES ! ! Thanks frog you are the best, thanks again.

Only downside I had to pay 40 dollars for it but they are really worth it because iam a complete noob when come to Wii hacks. just too many IOS CIMOS and stuff.

I took it to the guru, the salesman of the best Wii stores ever. he hacks everything, I told him about this guide, the issue of the GC controller, and the threat of a bricked wii if done wrong.

since his a master on the matter, with this guide, "we" did it on less than 30 mins. Epic win. I pay the 40 bucks with a smile on my face, I could done it myself but I didnt even could pass first step lol.

Thanks again, and to anybody outhere this works 100%, we used the SMBB level builder exploit. kids will be happy tomorrow after school. thats priceless.

Stuck at Step 1

I've read all the threads and have not been able to find a solution for my problem. I'm trying to get Step 1 going. I don't have Lego Indiana Jones nor SSBB. Tried to do option 3, but bootmii was removed with the 4.3u update along with homebrew. I don't have forwarders install either, but I do have both USB loader and neogamma loaded as channels. I've try to run the syscheck, but I'm getting Error #004, an error has occured, the system files are corrupted. Should I try to softmod my Wii as though it's a virgin? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Just registered to say a big thanks to mauifrog and all of the other people who contributed in making this hack possible.

Also I would like to share my experience in getting this softmod hack to work.

Firstly, get yourself a GC controller. You might get around the wii controller sync issues by adding the following to the mmmconfig file in the base directory of the pack '
AutoLoadIOS=80' (use a text editor to change it), but really if you plan on playing classic nintendo games you will need one anyway.

Side note on GC controller and wii equivalent:
A and B are a given on both, GC Z=+ on wii, X=1 and Y=2 (gained this info from posts and trial and error).

Secondly some of the issues that I ran into while going through the steps:

I used the Indiana Pwns hack and it took me a good couple of dozen reboots in order to get all of the steps to work without crashing.

[MMM] Multi-Mod-Manager is buggy, it crashed around 1 in 3 tries (black screen and blue light on wii). Considering you have to load the MMM several times over the stages, be prepared to reset your wii and go through stage 1 quite a lot.

At stage 2.1-2.2 TPR was buggy as well for me as well when I tried to run it(stack error and dump, lots of numbers) Reboot, load game and force crash/overflow, Basically start again. Fourth try and TPR worked.

Downgrade of IOS 15 went fine as per instructions right up until "press any key to exit" Did so and had another crash and memory dump.

Reset the wii, loaded game, forced the crash, loaded mmm and selected "Load another IOS" - load ios15. Screen responded loading IOS 15 and it froze at that point.
Rebooted back to MMM, Tried Load another IOS again and no problems.
Set the 54321 in the next part of the step and from there it was plain sailing to the end.

Just posting this to let ppl know that with a little patience (and a lot of running to the indiana jones art room) it can be done.

N.B. Truly a massochist here as my wii has a modchip installed and I did it for fun?

Once again well played to all that helped make this hack possible.

Cheers Dan

I was not able to get syscheck to run on my system. I tried installing it to the root of various SD cards formatted various ways and none would work. The Wii would not read the SD card from the wii menu. I happen to have a Uloader channel on my wii menu. Uloader will not load unless I have the SD card inserted from which I originally softmodded my 4.2 version wii. The Nand backup is still on that card too. When the card is inserted and I choose Uloader from the wii menu of channels Uloader opens and I can load a burned game. Well I replaced the .dol file on the SD card in the /apps/uloader folder with the .dol file from loadmii from the 4.3 fix download. Doing this made loadmii load up when I choose Uloader from the Wii Channel Menu. This gave me an idea. Since I could not get syscheck to run I tried putting the .dol file from the syscheck download in the /apps/uloader folder of my SD card like I did with loadmii. When I choose Uloader from the Wii Channel Menu syscheck now runs. So now I finally have a syscheck log to show you guys what is going on inside of my system.

Please keep in mind that I am new here and new to Wii modding. I dont mean to ask stupid questions. I have read and read and read some more till I have felt crosseyed. Please Help me out....I attached an image below which is a screenshot of my original SD cards file layout. This is root. There is also an image of the contents of the wad folder of the SD card. It contains all sorts of cIOS files.Attachment 2744

Hi there...I read all your posts and see you need some help. Until a pro shows up for you I will offer some suggestions.
You had it working to point of getting loadmi working. That means your in and don't need the exploit game at this point. What you need is to put the sd card back the way it was with uloader pointing to loadmii, edit the mmmconfig.tx file to select one of them higher Iso for MMM to run on like iso202 or 222, and then run Multi Mod Manager (MMM) or maybe just the hackmii installer. I think since you show as having much stuff enabled on them high ones as well as the bug already enabled that you might be able to just run the hackmii package the way you are.. I doubt it could hurt to try. I think once you get to priloader part of guide and enable it's hacks then hbc will stay and not get deleted. Sorry as I am forgetting exactly what you have working or not working but I asure you yours looks a lot better off then mine did. So much so that Maybe you don't have to do the downgrade and reinstall of trucha stuff.. .. umm bueler, bueler,, where's Mauifrog.

ok, u will need to gather this two things:

- An original copy of SMBB
- A GameCube controller
- and of course a 2GB SD Card

Use the SMBB exploit as stated on the guide, its a PITA, I even couldnt do it I admit it, but if you try, u will do it is pretty straight forward. g/l

Again the blind trying to lead the blind here but ,, it may be worth a shot for you to substitute one of them loaders .dol's with one from loadmii. Haven't heard it working for channels persay but if it just a forwarder really it is supposed to work to get yourself in deeper to run loadmii. Have the syscheck in there as well on sd card (I put in it's own folder as it's gonna drop the cvs on the root anyways).. If you get in try following guide by getting other files from the fix file on card. I would say anything that doesn't overwrite your original sd card files will be ok and likely beneficial but make a backup of your original just in case..
