    Ca

I have completed all the steps in this guide (4.3u), until I get to the point where I am supposed to copy the WAD files. This guide indicates that when you load BootMii from inside Homebrew, it will take you into MMM automatically? through cboot2. I'm not sure what that is, and it does not happen for me. It just takes me in to BooMii.

If I try using MMM or WadManager to copy the 19 WAD files, I just get the -2011 error, maybe a few -1035.

If I get in to MMM through cboot2 will it fix that error, and does anybody have any idea how I can do that?

That sounds right to me, that is what should happen when you skip steps. You did not follow the instructions. At the beginning of chapter 2 it says to format your sd card and download this file, etc. You do actually need to do this, it is important. That is way I put it in huge font.

I'm sorry, I did do that, but it did not include MMM. I had to find it somewhere. Is this a new zip file? I'm sorry if I'm coming across as ignorant. I really have tried to do my research.

You did not do that, you said that launch bootmii loaded bootmii- this means that you DID NOT format your sd-card.
    Chapter 2- Hacking your wii
    Format the sd-card (not optional)
    Download
    ModPack-AnyWii.zip
    Extract to sd:\
Requires a standard SD card, 1-2g scandisk is best. SDHC cards will not work.
    Run sd:\md5summer.exe
    Click "Verify Sums", Select "ModPack-AnyWii.md5"
All check sums should verify without error (very important)
Do it just like it is writen, don't add any additional files.

I can't believe just erasing the sd card wouldn't do the same as a quick format? Does it have to be a full format? And currently my card is Fat32 , should it just be fat?

    I really appreciate your help

FAT32 is fine, and erasing the card is fine to, formating is usually faster. But you did not do either because your bootmii files from the hackmii installer where still on the card, that is why bootmii loaded from HBC.

My problem the first time, now that I remember it, was that, after I cleaned off my SD card, I no longer had homebrew, so I had to keep some older files too. The new Modpack.zip seems to have everything on it, so I'll be sure to give it a try.

    heres my story:

    started with a 4.3 wii.

followed this guide [Removed to prevent confusion] with the smash stack method.

installed channels(mostly emulators and usbloader_gx), , hb apps via hbb, etc etc. had various problem such as some emulators not being able to save, took forever to get usb_loadergx to find my games on my hdd and still when i got that working i tried to load the game and the screen went black.

then i found this guide. started from chapter 2 and completed it successfully. now all my channels restart the wii even though i restored the original sd card contents. the usb loader that this guide installs doesnt recognize my drive. and the hbc doesnt show any apps even though the app folder on the sd card is full.

want i want to do is just simply start over from a fresh 4.3 wii and then follow only this guide. how can i make that happen or is there a better way to fix my situation?

    much appreciated,
    bougs

You can do the whole guide from chapter 1, reinstall HBC 0.8, do the whole thing. Before you start, go into data management and remove the usbloader channel, the neogamma channel- they have been replaced. Do the guide and post back, hopefully it will work for you.
