Awesome mauifrog, I will add a link to this guide in the 4.3 thread i got started.
Awsome Mauifrog.......
A+++++++
:)
Wow that was Quick...:p
Excellent work as ever Mauifrog ;D
Wow, it amazes me how fast you guys are at fixing this stuff. I hope your job pays you lots of money.
Is there a way to update the Wii via disk or sd?
If you could do that, then you could go from 4.3 to 4.1 and back to 4.2.
Just an idea.
LOL that makes no sense. Why would you downgrade to 4.1 just to go back up to 4.2. Don't be silly. This guide is for one purpose and one purpose only.
All advice is given by people who receive no money. We simply like to help people. Mauifrog has this guide on how to downgrade to 4.1 and that will fix the 4.3 issue. I would be careful mixing system menus as you are. It is best if you stick with 4.1 and never update again. There are many people on this site who are still on 3.2 and can play every game out there since games are not system menu dependent, but ios dependent.
MONEY!!! no sir this advice is given by people who love the Wii as a platform to do interesting stuff with and spead the knowledge to others.
Can anyone confirm that this is working? I came home to an updated Wii running 4.3u and no one in the house is fessing up to what happened. I was on 4.2u and everything was golden. Before I go any further I'm gonna say that the link for 4.2 users does not work. I don't have a retail copy of Lego Indy so I don't know if that route works or not. I tried following this guide with using the USB Loader GX forwarder to launch Dop-Mii and it would not respond to my wii-remote. I plugged in my gamecube controller, pressed A and the system would freeze. I came up with the idea of running multi mod manager using the forwarder to boot it. Once in multi mod manager, trying to do much of anything ended in the same result with the system freezing. Still in multi mod manager, I was able to go to the app loader and start up any title deleter and deleted ios 36, went back into multi mod manager and successfully reinstalled it with the fake-sign thing. I'm still trying to figure this out and will keep posting here with my findings.
I hope I didn't insult anyone with this post, especially mauifrog bc I know he was just trying to help.
