-If wiimc has issues, I am sure it will be updated to resolve them along with all other apps. I think it needs to be loaded with arguments, not sure, have not had time to pursue it. Will look into it when I can.
-Cios16 reenables the wii recovery disk, it is preventative. It does nothing for the normal user, but is good to have.
-cios30 enables compatibility of system menu 3.2 for all wiis, even lu64+.
-USB Loader will be mothballed with the next update. CFG Loader will be recommended with fat32 loading.
-I have had trouble with installed apps autoupdating in the past, it would fail for me. So I use forwarder. Neogamma is installed as a wad. The forwarder is also usefull if you need another method for loading an app, say you update an loose HBC and all exploits are removed- you can use your fowarder to rehack your wii. Same reason for loadmii. Loadmii was initially installed when 4.3 would remove HBC, you could reinstall HBC with it, it is not used for anything other than a backup method to pull yourself out of a whole.
