Try to format it from linux with gparted. You can use an autoboot disk for this, like puppy linux. Delete the partition on the card, then make a new fat32 partition.

Used gparted from my ubuntu partition and it worked like a charm.

Another quick question: When you start a new game, do you let it load the whole first cut scene then back out? or can you start a new game wait 2-5 seconds then back out?

Also...if I am installing a Wiikey 2 and the softmod...which would be better to install first. Mod chip first or softmod first? or does it matter.

The idea behind starting a new game is to get a saved game on your Wii. You have to get to the point it asks you to save.

Shouldn't mater but since you already getting your head around softmoding, I would suggest you finish that and then hardmod. But that just my opinion.

edit: you don't have to have a saved game. I stand corrected. Thanks mauifrog.

Your wrong. I already asked mauifrog this and he told me you don't have to play the entire first level anymore to do the mod. Go to first the first post. He updated the guide.

Not sure why you think I suggested you complete the first level. You asked if you had to wait on the cut scene to finish.

If your talking about the standard cut scene in the beginning then, i could be wrong, but I believe that you can't save the game until after that. Once you save the game you can then quit and continue with the softmod whether or not you complete the first level.

not trying to confuse you, lol.

edit: you don't have to have a saved game. I stand corrected. Thanks mauifrog.

You load up the game. Start a new game. Then it shows the big red dot, then the red line starts to draw. So what I am saying it...can you go back to the Wii menu right when you see the red line starting to be drawn...or should you wait until after the first cut scene (basically once it allows you to play the game) before exiting out. I know for a fact you do not have to play the entire level to have it make a game save. You no longer have to do that.

Like I said I could be wrong. It tells you when the game is saving. If thats before or after the cut scene your are talking about IDK for sure (I will confirm for myself though shortly). Thats all you need. To verify, you could just go into data management and see if there is an India Jones game save.

edit: you don't have to have a saved game. I stand corrected. Thanks mauifrog.
