If the drive is not D3-2 and you can read backups isn't there a swap trick you could use to install the Homebrew Channel on 4.3 ?

    Thanks Rx10.
I read that originally, but assumed since I used it to install HBC the first time it would work now. I guess the 4.3 update doesn't like those cards. My 8gb is also SDHC, so I'll have to try tomorrow with a 1-2 gb SD card and post my findings.

    Thanks again

    need help at step 4

I have a virgin wii that has 4.3u. When I get to step 4, on the main manual, I see 'Manage Priiloader' (fourth row from the top) instead of 'Install Priiloader'. When I select 'Manage Priiloader', I see the following on the screen :
    1. Edit Priiloader Hacks
    2. Switch to Priiloader v0.3 or newer
    3. Switch to System Menu via Priiloader v0.4 or newer

    What should I do?

    Thanks in advance!

Cool Worked in my new Wii!

Iīve bought a new wii a month ago. It's a USA console, LU7..., menu version 4.2 (updated to 4.3 when iīve turn it on for the first time... ... at that time I really didn't know what is happenning!). I follow all steps from tutorial, except the downgrade part, e now I can play backup games from USB with the Neogamma e emulators through the Home Brew Channel. That's Great! But I canīt run DVD's backups, maybe my drive canīt do it...

Now iīm look for a good external USB HDD to store my backups.

    Thanks!

After a successful 4.3 fix and downgrade to 4.1 the Wii keeps freezing constantly in Neogamma and the other USB loader. I put WiiFlow on it and it seems to be working great (need my kids to put it to a real test first). Any idea if I have an issue with the fix or if it is just my Wii and I should pursue this in another thread? I like WiiFlow better, but am wondering if something went wrong that I should take of anyway.

    WAD Files

I bought a black wii a week ago. my brother installed the latest updates so now the firmware is at 4.3E. I found your guide copied the files you provided here and purchased a copy of indiana game. I have completed steps one and two, but when I go to mmm then wad manager I press 1 to install all wads. out of all of them only one installs. even if I go one by one only that one single wad installs.
is this becuase this console has never been modded??
what can I do so I can install the rest of the software??

    went wrong somewhere

hey everyone. Okay so i had my wii softmodded before on ver4.2 and everything was fine but the other day my wii updated to 4.3 and i lost homebrew. long story short, i followed this thread with ssbb and i got homebrew and all that fun stuff back but i ran into an issue. Now when i turn on the system it automatically loads MMM, not the original wii menu with the channels. For me its fine but my kids use the system and im afraid that they are going to play around in it and brick it so i was wondering if anyone had this issue and is there a simple fix for this. I have the 3 files that was created on my laptop so those are safe. I was going to downgrade to 4.2 or 4.1 but i was told that not to cause it mostlikely will brick....
