Yesterday your tut was different I could of sworn we were supposed to add ios60 & 70.
I could be wrong I have 20/400 vision so even though I read over 10 times. My eyes decieve me.

I did your original threads downgrade method on 3 wii's but didn't delete ios70 I installed it and everything went perfect and they work perfectly.at 4.1 I would rather downgrade than stay at 4.3 I didn't like 4.2 and 4.3 isn't any better.
I Also found out yesterday as well that if you have cioscorp or darkcorp installed and you update to 4.3u that no games work period no original will play. So using the smashstack or indiana pawns won't work.
And there were no forwarders or aynthing for that matter, so luckily he had boot2 with bootmii still so I just made a 1.7wad manager load with bootmii and installed your ioses, an original ios36 for hackmii
And downgraded to 4.1 loaded hackmii installed hbc than used cioscorp uninstaller than used pimp my wii.and back to normal and plays everything.

Just thought I'd put that out there incase anyone has same problem.
    Thanks.

The guide was changed because one person bricked their wii, which I really really don't like. The first guide works just fine, if everything installs as it should. The new guide uses dop-mii which has some checks to ensure you don't brick when installing SM, it ensures you have the system ios, it hash checks the SM and ios, and restores priiloader after the install. This was the original desire, but I changed it because dop-mii will not load from the loadmii as done in the guide. Now it is back.
Ios70 must be deleted because it is a stub, if you downgrade from 4.3 to 4.1, then update to 4.2 you will brick. To prevent this, ios70 must be deleted.
The first guide did the same thing by installing ios70-v54321 via wadmanager.

Do NOT run SM 4.1 with ios70-v6912
    installed
you will brick your wii if it updates to 4.2 via disk or other.

Hi, I had my 4.2E Wii softmodded and all went smothly, but I made the stupidity of upgrading for 4.3E and all disappeared...I checked out your guide to solve the problem...All went fine until step6: when I went to "System Menu hacks" it said there wasn't any hacks for version514. What does that mean? and after i tried to use any loaders they don't launch, instead the Wii goes back to the system menu. Any help would be great! Also, BootMii doesn't launch too and everytime this happens or even when i get out of HBC to the System menu, i need to install hackmii_installer over agian because it vanishes and Priiloader doesn't even find them in the system....i'm a little lost, thanks

Currently 4.3 hacks are being ported, this means that we do not have all the required hacks for 4.3e or 4.3j. So ATM, jodi, haxx, dvdx is removed from the SM at boot.
    You have two options-
    1) run the hackmii installer 1.06 and install HBC, dvdx again. The installer exits to HBC, hold reset and boot priiloader. Then go to settings and set autoboot and return to the HBC.
Once the 4.3e hacks are ported, you can boot SM without loosing HBC
2)install an older HBC with a modified titile so it is not removed. This will load apps, but nothing can return to it. Anythings that returns to HBC will crash at that point and require hard reset.
HBC(zxqw).zip install via wadmanager, it will not be removed by sm.

You also can just use the loadmii channel that the guide installs for this very issue, and usbloader gx, neogamma loader, without HBC. Be patient, it should not be long for updates.

The guide worked perfectly. I am glad that you explained all steps in the smash stack exploit, because I have been struggling with it for a while.

However, Multi Mod Manager disconnects ALL Wii remotes as soon as you start it. In my experience, the ONLY way to use the Multi Mod Manager was to attach a Game Cube controller, and use its D-pad to arrow up and down.

Secondly, the Wad Manager included within the Multi Mod Manager could NOT install any wads. I had to get myself a stand-alone Wad Manager, to install the wads.

I hope these suggestions help somebody, and I would like to see these suggestions added to the guide.

    Ca wad install problems

I've been trying to get the hackmii installer to work for the past couple days now, I tried loading the hackmii installer through MMM and i got the vunarable ios error or something, so I have been trying your guide and I can't install the wads. I tried unistalling them and reinstalling them and I tried different ios but nothing. It's a real bummer hoping someone can put me in the right direction.
