Try using CFG Loader instead of USBLoader GX, I am almost sure that I read somewhere on here that USBLoader GX has problems with NTFS. But don't quote me on that. I'm going to do some reading and see if I can find it.

I personally have not seen that issue, but that doesnt mean that it hasn't happened at some point. Is your new drive on the USB Compatibility List?

    It's a Samsung S2 Portable with 500GB.
I haven't found on the USB Compatibility List.

But it was working with FAT32.

    EDITED
    Some info,
The USB Loader GX recognizes the HDD because it says the size and the free space.
It loads the apps in the HDD.
It just doesn't recognize the games.
    This changes something?

Is there any configuration for the games to work?

    Hi there,

I am currently facing some issues to load my external hard disk with games onto my wii.

Here are some brief introduction to the mods done on the wii/external hard disk.

    WII
    -Version 4.3U
-Installed / Modded with Homebrew Channel
-Installed / Modded with WiiFlow, Configurable USB Loader, NeoGamma & USB Loader
-Wads and files installed using guide from "Guide: Softmod ANY Wii"

*Basically, i think my wii was modded just perfectly fine according to the instructions.

    External Hard-Disk
    -Western Digital Passport (500GB)
-Tried formatting using WBFS Manager, managed to load games onto external hard-disk as .wbfs files

    *WBFS Manager
-Manage to load games, but unable to load games on Wii using WiiFlow, Configurable USB Loader, NeoGamma & USB Loader. It did not even list my games for instance Mario Kart / Call of Duty / Need for Speed.

    *FAT32 with Wii Games Manager
-Manage to format external hard disk to FAT32 format, loaded games through one of the programme from this forum (Wii Games Manager). However, just like WBFS manager, its not able to load any games using WiiFlow, Configurable USB Loader, NeoGamma & USB Loader.

I really appreciate if you could help me out a little and guiding me on how to play games through my external hard disk even when i did follow all instructions.

    Thanks for reading.

Ok so I am having issues and need help. I tried doing this using Fat32 first and I was having an issue where the game would load past the first warnings then hang on the first loading screen. I used Wii backup manager to load the games to my HDD and I tried it with two games and same deal on both. So then I tried using this NTFS method and same deal. I tried using straight .ISO and same thing. I used the guide for fresh softmod install and have followed all the steps. My HDD must be compatible as it recognizes it and see's the games as well just I can't seem to play them. Any help would be appreciated. Also tried formatting a partition to WBFS with many programs and it won't allow me to in any program. Formatted to FAT32 before trying this as well.

You Say it "Must" be compatible, But is it compatible 100%?

Have you checked the Usb Hdd Compatibility List? Link---> Usb Compatibility List

Have you tried using a Usb Thumb Drive to see if it load's that way?

Ya I haven't seen it on there at all. I just figured if it'd read the games and recognize the HDD that it would be compatible. It's a seagate 3TB if that helps. I know seagates a fairly trusted name and usually have no issues from what I'm told

Yeah, Sometimes they won't work 100% or at all.
Are you sure you have it set up as primary and active? If so then I would say it's not Compatible.
