should the flash drive be in fat32 format, or should it be in the format WBFS Manager 3.0 made it? because the format WBFS Manager made it cant be read by anything other than WBFS Manager... windows cannot read that format

Help with error installing games from wii

I wonder why I can transfer games from pc to hard drive and play them with no problems but I cant do it from wii to hard drive. Any ideas? I've tried fat32, ntfs, wbfs. Always start getting error towards the end of installing the the games. Out of many games only one has fully installed 100%. I will use fat32 and cfg loader since I read is the way to go. Thanks in advance!

Maybe your Wii has problems reading your disc or your disc may be scratched that's why Wii has problems reading it.

I have installed 6 of my games from Wii to HDD (NTFS format) via CFG USB Loader, and only got one game that had errors in the end, Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles. Cleaned my disc and retried but same results. I think this is already a bad disc problem. HTH.

Well, to be honest, I would make it all NTFS or all FAT32 if it was my drive, just depends on what else you would like to do with the drive. You can only have one particular partition active at any given time, no such thing as multiple active partitions on a hard drive.

yes for formatting it to FAT32 and using it for NAND emulation, and no for setting it active, I told you in the post before you can only have one partition active at any given time. Now if the Wii will read that FAT32 partition and do NAND emulation with a active WBFS partition is unknown to me, I have never tried it or bothered with it. Try it and see, worst thing that will happen is that it will not work.
