Im still stuck on this, I got no problems with everything else just playing backups. Whenever I use Backup Gamma 0.3 or wii iso WiiGater3 it says DVD identity error and when I've tried Gecko OS or other Backup installer it says DVD error 324. I've tried installing the above file into the WAD folder after copying the two over to my SD card and I've tried installing it using WAD manager v1.3 and manually selecting it fromthere. It seems to install but after resetting it still won't recognise my Manhunt 2 trucha signed release which was copied for me from a mate in USA. I've tried changing settings to PAL in all also but to no avail. The setting is IOS36 v4.19 in Homebrew Channel. I've also tried running CIOS installer to run before Backup loader but that seems to error at the end and go back to Homebrew app. Please help somebody????

Which file should I have to play trucha signed and 1.1 backup releses
on 3.3e downgraded to 3.2e. Do I need cIOS249-IOS36 or another file. Please help someone. I keep getting DVD error 324 when trying to launch file
with any backup channel. I have tried two lots of discs. A sony DVD+R and a Ritek DVD-R X2 speed. I'm now trying copying the trucha signed ISO from the disc a mate of mine did for me which plays on his modded Wii no problems over to my PC via the DVD dumper tool on Homebrew with Wi-Fi. It's half done so far and I'll try burning it onto a Kodak DVD-R to see how that goes. Other than that, someone please help me. Everything is working fine including all my other apps and emulators except backup channels as I haven't had a chance to play any 1.1 backups yet as I haven't got copies of any. Is it the CIOS files that need changing, the disks that need changing...if so which are the best ones to use. Can someone post all the files I need...if any are needed and explain in NOOB terms how to install it. Thanks.

I burned Manhunt 2 onto another brand of DVD-R 8X (Kodak) burned ay 4x. This time all the back-up loaders loaded the game and showed the Wii Remote on the safety screen and then kicked into The Manhunt 2 copyright screen (I thought I'd sussed it out by here) but after that it said (in the Manhunt font from the game) Game Disk cannot be read, check Wii manual for instruction. What's up with it now. The game is trucha signed, does that have anything to do with it. I've downgraded to 3.2e so it shouldn't matter. Could it still be the discs. Shall I try Verbatims?

That might just be the media. Try Verbatim. Check out this thread for great prices:

Step 5 - Using the ‘Homebrew Channel’, open ‘Custom WM’. Now using the same method as in ‘Step 4’, install the ‘cios_fix.wad’. Once it has installed the WAD, press the ‘Home’ button to restart you Wii.
Note: If that fails to install, just use 'Wad Manager 1.3'
I've tried both wad manager and custom wm and it keeps saying ERROR! (ret = -2011)

I hope your right, Chris. I've downlaoded PDC Darts 2008 PAL from a torrent and burned that onto the same DVR-R Kodak at 4x and that loads up with the rebooter option on Backup-Gamma 0.3 and the three darts appear in the top of the screen as if it's a real disc. I click on it and there it is ready to click start. As I click on start, after a while it says PDC Darts 2008 game disc cannot read disc, refer to Wii manual for instructions...The same as Manhunt 2. It can't be a bad download from a torrent so I've taken your advice and am going to purchase Verbatims today. I'll let you know how it goes...
Just answer me one thing though, are all my CIOS files correct to play back-ups and trucha signed games if the above is happening.
