Gonna get a GC-controller too then,....
But for my knowledge... If I downgrade from 3.4 to 3.3 ... homebrewchannel will work too with the wiigator-loader
Are there any downside running a 3.2 firmware... like games not working or so?
To downgrade, just follow the guide.
Starfall installs a bunch of system menu hacks. I use it to install region free WADs, skip the disk update check, and if my wii gets bricked, i can press Y on a gamecube controller to unbrick it![]()

hi guys, i have a problem downgrading my wii, i stupidly upgraded last month, now i get ticket error in wad manager, would like to downgrade, but having no luck with this guide, using cios downgrader, it says i dont have a cios, which i guessed about, the problem i have is with the ios downgrader, i run it, it just reboots my wii and everything is still the same. any ideas? my firmware is ios36 v12.18. Thanks
im having a problem with the custom wm step, when i go to pick a file the cios_fix file doesnt show up. i have 3.4 firmware, please help me! the only 2 wad files i see is IOS16-64-v257-prod.wad and wad manager 1.3.wad. help please
i also had this problem, i skipped the custom wm step because i couldnt find the cios_fix file (even though u said not to skip steps) and my wii is restarting when i try and run ios downgraderOriginally Posted by gmunday [Only Registered Members May View Links| Click here to register]

Hey all. Need some Help.
I make it this far: Step 6 - Using the ‘Homebrew Channel’, open ‘IOS Downgrader’. Just follow the instructions and wait until it finishes installing the necessary IOSs.
Then it usually finishes the first IOS download, starts on the second and ends up just sitting at there.... No errors, Network active, etc. but no progress. I let it run for 8 hours or so, but no progress.... I can restart the wii by powering it off, but then starting the process again produces the same results.
No errors, but no progress. Did I miss something?
press home to restart.

EDIT:BBking, use these files [Only Registered Members May View Links| Click here to register] everything should be in there and working fine, this is what i used and no problems. the only file it doesnt have is the ios16-64-v257.wad but if u have done that already you should be able to skip the step
