Gotta give me *some* credit. I only mentioned to use the last 3 options in starfall. If you do things I dont tell you to do, how can I guess what has gone wrong? >.<

... copy the contents of the "put on SD card" folder onto the root of your sd card. thats all you need to do and the file structure will be correct.Originally Posted by agfu3120 [Only Registered Members May View Links| Click here to register]

They can launch from homebrew channel, but I did not include that application in my collection of files. I prefer using it from a channel because then the Sd card is not required in the wii. The backup launcher channel is basically the same thing as the backup launcher from homebrew channel, except the backup launcher channel is installed as a channel on the system menu. Just seems more convenient to me I guess.Originally Posted by wallym [Only Registered Members May View Links| Click here to register]
Although a very small percentage of people dont have luck getting gamma running or completing the downgrade process, I have yet to see one person brick their wii by using my guide.Originally Posted by jherman0713 [Only Registered Members May View Links| Click here to register]

This was an awesome tutorial. Most of my questions were answered by re-reading it!
I did have a few caveats that I passed along to a friend that expressed interest in following in my footsteps. I wrote these in an email, and figured I might as well add them here.
1. Read the guide a FEW times before starting it. Make sure you follow all the steps.
2. Update to the latest version of the Wii firmware before starting the tutorial if you are < 3.4. (Do that through the Wii settings). Be careful about doing this months from now when Nintendo has an update higher than 3.4
3. Make sure you're connected the internet before starting the guide.
4. Use the link on the guide for the files to download.
5. Remove all accessories from your Wii.
6. If you already have a Zelda save game on the Wii, be sure to copy the save game to your SD card before starting the tutorial, then delete it from your Wii after you've copied it to your PC
7. After copying over the save game to your Wii, don't press the home button. This resets the Wii. Instead, press the back buttons until you are back on the channels page. Then Launch the game.
8. The step where you have to press B+1, it will seem like it doesn't work, just keep trying to press it.
9. Use Verbatim media!
10. SD card must be 2GB or less, and NOT SDHC
You can delete all files from SD card after installing the tutorial steps if you wish. The Gamma loader and Homebrew will be installed as 2 separate channels....no need for an SD card or files to keep them. The Homebrew channel is your gateway to play lots of homebrew games and offers you oppritunity to use other homebrew apps. You can simply keep the homebrew browser file on your SD card. Once in the HB browser, you can download free homebrew games and apps. Those games and/or apps will be automatically installed on your SD card. You'll get it.Originally Posted by vinhhhh [Only Registered Members May View Links| Click here to register]

All firmware options are not visible on the screen at the same time. Keep pushing the arrow down button until you see the desired update for you. Begin over starting at Step 2.Originally Posted by jacktheripper28 [Only Registered Members May View Links| Click here to register]

I burnt a copy of mario kart and all is good. I still use the gamma launcher to play it. I burnt it using Imgburn choosing 2x speed.
I never figured out launching a game thru HBC. I suppose you never have to. Just use the gamma launcher.

OK so I'm having a weird issue when pressing B+1 to install starfall. It just says "exiting" at the top left of the screen instead of actually going to the next screen to install. I went back to Custom Wad Manager and tried the CIOS fix but that didn't help. I also tired the IOS downgrader but it runs for only a sec as I chose 3.2U but that's what I downgraded it to. Any suggestions on what i can do to get it to install?
nvm... I'm clinging to hope. per this post somehere i see to try running IOS downgrader. Trying it now. thx
Thx for the advise in the previous post... reloading IOS downgrader worked.

Will this work on a system I updated just 1 week ago?
Also, is there a list of games that will work with this fix as I have several on the pc ready to burn but not sure which would/should work..
thanks to all for your help...
my #1 question is ....
Can Wii iso torrents boot with boot loader?
