When i first saw the intructions on page 1...i thought "this looks harder than ppl say it is"...but after reading instructions first and actually seeing the files extracted on my pc...very easy

I have Wii with Wiikey2 installed...i updated to 3.4 which is why i used this hack
I also used a backup of Zelda Twilight princess to complete initial step

Recommend: press the Home button after you install IOS16-64-v257-prod.wad
it will reset your system and you can then go back into the homebrew channel. i say to do this because this way you wont make a mistake of installing something out of order.
I pressed home button and started fresh after each wad install.

Just take your time and actually read...
if your a bit confused about how to start off with memory card and all
you could use following link as reference like i did, but diregard the part where it ask you to identify which zelda disc you have as the save file will automatically have same name as the one inside EOC folder (private)

Oh right. well all you had to say was error -116 and I would have known the problem in the first place

Error -116 is a router issue. Unplug your router, give it a minute and plug it back in and try again.

Try to reset your network connection or place your WII closer to your router or something. I had a guy have this same problem and it was simply a poor connection.

ok i fond out what the problem was i didn't know i was supposed to take out all gamecube accessories. and the cios installed with no problems but none of the backupps i burned worked. i patched them with backup creator and i have also used wiifrii and the ios pathcer along with th wii updat remover still no go and i burnt them all at 4x speed. oh and i am using memorex dvd-r.

Okay to all the people still reading this guide here goes some of the question being answered for you guys.

> A non burnt out of "Country" aka Pal on NTSC will work; just make sure to force NTSC using Wiigator or otherwise. If you use Gecko OS for Region free make sure to have a Modchip.

> You can rip / download the game and use region free programs / scrubbers to remove updates and change the region. This will allow non-modchipped wii's to play games easier.

> 3.4 is not the best bet. Even those this guide states 3.4 its for the people who have ALREADY updated. There is a part to the guide for people below 3.4

"With 3.4 you CANNOT use Wad Manager"

> An active internet connection is required to use the homebrew channel for updates and receiving new homebrew apps like emulators and applications.

> Custom IOS work to unblock the shop channel without updating to 3.4

> The SD card holds all 3rd Party (hacked/homebrew) apps and thus is required to stay in your Wii

> Starfall is a good program for unbricking semi-bricked wii's however when launching "backed up" games use WiiGator or the Backup Channel.

You only need a proper copy if you don't have a modchip, If you have a modchip then a downloaded version will work, and for 3.4 you need the beta2 version of twilight hack to copy onto a wii.
