some newer games need updates to IOS's that require you to actually download to play, since, newer games like Animal crossing give a black screen, and NFS gives error 002 when u force boot it in Gecko OS, you need to update those to play them

Installing IOS 38, 53, or 55 will not brick your softmoded Wii. Installing these IOS's will not allow you to play NFS Undercover though. With a chip yes, softmod no. The DIP must be rewritten to correct the #002 error.

Thanks again. Do I need to block the update even if I installed all the IOS using WAD manager? If so, then how do I block the update? Is it a setting on the modchip?
