Like a note after the HDD format "If you followed mauifrog's guide, you can skip forwarder channel section".

    Your response was clear, thanks.
I understand. As a noob I was scared to death of bricking until I got to know that I was doing. Just remember the chances of a brick are virtually zero as long as you READ and follow the directions on the guides here exactly as they are written. Enjoy your newly modded Wii!

You can skip it but you don't have to. The forwarder in this guide is more updated than the one in mauis guide (last time I checked). The point is you can follow this guide regardless of what's been done to your wii and it has ZERO chance of bricking it.

Understood. But letting people know in the guide exactly what you wrote here would be helpful and save a lot of questions when a newb follows your guide. Proof of that is all the questions in this thread related to exactly this issue.

Why? Mauifrog's guide and this guide are two separate beast. Not everyone follows Maui's guide myself included. Following this guide will get you set up FAT32 loading regardless of how you modded your Wii. You just want everything spoon-fed without doing any research. If you've read all the posts in this thread or used the search bar then you wouldn't even be asking the same basic questions that have been answered a million times over.

What he said, move on. If you don't like the guide find a different one.

I do like it, and I used it to get the WiiHDD set up. It's your guide, Krank, do with it as you see fit. I was just making a suggestion, that's all.

I have done the format. Now do I have to do all of the Forwarder Channel Installation/HBC Loading onto my hard drive?

Hello, I'm having trouble with only one thing... the backup fusion thing for mac. I click the link and it takes me to a page, but there is no where download the file.
This is the only thing keeping me from finishing.... any help would be great.

    Thanks,
